Code view adds terminals, branches, worktrees, diffs and source-control tools. Work view keeps these controls out of the way for everyday tasks; your agents and conversations remain available in both.
02Review before you publish#
- Inspect file changes and diffs as the agent works.
- Use separate worktrees for independent tasks or competing implementations.
- Work with commits, branches and pull requests through supported Git hosts.
- Run checks in the integrated terminal on the computer hosting the project.
03Keep the final decision yours#
Review the result and test the behavior that matters before merging, publishing or deploying. Permission controls help decide what agents can do automatically; provider support varies.
04Keep changes reviewable#
Give a coding task its own branch or worktree before it starts when you want to isolate its changes. A worktree gives the thread a separate checkout, which is useful when several agents work in parallel. The integrated terminal runs on the computer that hosts that checkout.
The diff view helps you inspect the edits behind the agent’s summary. Review the relevant files, run the project’s checks and then work with commits, pushes and pull requests. Supported hosts include GitHub, GitLab, Forgejo, Gitea, Bitbucket and Azure DevOps; available actions depend on the tools and authentication on the host.
For a website, combine the diff with an in-app browser preview. For example, ask the agent to fix a form, run its tests and demonstrate the validation in the preview before you approve the change.
